1. General
By purchasing a product or service from Smart Technology Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website or made available upon request.
2. Products & Pricing

All prices are listed in SBD (Solomon Islands Dollars) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Product availability is subject to change without notice.

We strive to ensure all product descriptions and prices are accurate. In case of errors, we reserve the right to cancel or adjust orders accordingly.
3. Sales, Orders & Payments

Orders may be placed in-store, via Facebook, WhatsApp, or through our website

Full payment is required before delivery or service is provided unless otherwise agreed.

We accept Cash, Mobile payments (M-Selen,), and Bank Transfers.

Custom orders or pre-orders may require a non-refundable deposit.
4. Deliveries (in partnership with CabIt)

Deliveries in Honiara are handled via our partner CabIt.

Delivery fees vary based on distance and urgency

Same-day delivery is available on orders placed before 2:00 PM, subject to product availability.

Once dispatched, delivery is the responsibility of CabIt, and we are not liable for delays beyond our control.
5. Repairs & Service Jobs

Diagnostic fees may apply if no service is performed.

All repair jobs require inspection and quotation before confirmation.

Customers are responsible for backing up personal data prior to servicing.

We are not liable for data loss during repairs.

Repaired devices will be held for 30 days after service completion. After this period, unclaimed devices may be disposed of or recycled.
6. Warranty

Most new electronic products come with a 30 to 90-day limited warranty against manufacturer defects.

Repairs are guaranteed for 14 days from collection, covering only the parts/labor involved in the service.

Warranties are voided if:

The item has physical or liquid damage.

Unauthorized repairs have been attempted elsewhere.

Improper use or handling is evident.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is in unused condition, with original packaging and receipt.

Items like earphones, screen protectors, and consumables are non-refundable unless faulty.

Approved returns may be refunded or exchanged, subject to inspection.
8. Software, Apps & ICT Services

Custom software solutions, websites, and apps require formal quotes and signed agreement before work begins.

A 50% deposit may be required for digital projects.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may shift based on client requirements or technical delays.

Smart Technology retains the right to showcase completed projects in its portfolio unless a confidentiality agreement is signed.
9. Privacy Policy
We collect customer information only for order processing, delivery, and service purposes. Your data will never be shared with third parties without consent, except when required by law or as part of delivery coordination (e.g., CabIt).
10. Liability Disclaimer
Smart Technology Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses due to malfunctioning products, service delays, or third-party errors (e.g., delivery services). Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the purchased product or service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Solomon Islands. Any disputes shall be resolved under local jurisdiction.
